SDC, Syrian gov't to create committees for crisis talks


(MENAFN) The Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) and the Syrian government have reached a decision to create committees for the Syrian crisis.

The decision to form the committees, aims at developing talks to end the Syrian crisis, has been settled on during a meeting between both sides.

The political wing of the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), the SDC, explained that the committees are to assured to "chart a roadmap to a democratic, decentralized Syria."

The meeting has also underlined measures Kurdish-led authorities have taken in the quarter of Syria east of the Euphrates in order to secure an agreement with Syrian President Bashar Assad to maintain their autonomy.
