Prime Minister reviews Qatar Civil Aviation Authority strategic plans

DOHA: Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani visited yesterday Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA).

During the visit, H E the Prime Minister and Interior Minister listened to an explanation about QCAA strategic plans for the civil aviation sector in the State to serve the objectives and aspirations of Qatar National Vision 2030, keep pace with the level of growth witnessed by all sectors of the national economy, and secure the needs of the coming stage with all its obligations and international events.

The Prime Minister also listened to an explanation about the efforts exerted by the QCAA to provide a safe, efficient and flexible flight system, develop contingency plans and seek further growth and development in the aviation industry in Qatar.

The Prime Minister and Interior Minister stressed the important role of the Civil Aviation Authority in the field of air transport and the security and safety of civil aviation.

The Prime Minister was accompanied during the visit by Minister of Transport and Communications H E Jassim bin Saif Al Sulaiti, Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority H E Abdullah bin Nasser Turki Al Subaey and a number of senior officials at the Civil Aviation Authority.
