Turkey: military air attacks "neutralize" 9 terrorists

(MENAFN) The military declared that Turkish air attacks "neutralized" nine terrorists in the country's southeastern Sirnak and Siirt provinces and northern Iraq's Qandil region.

Turkish authorities often deploy the term "neutralized" in their announcements to imply the terrorists have either gave themselves in or were killed or arrested.

Turkish General Staff didn't mention the terror groups involved, however, Turkey has been taking part in a long-termed battled against terror group in the area.

Missions were carried out between July 17-19 in Uludere district of Sirnak, Eruh district of Siirt and hilly Qandil region of northern Iraq.
