Iran establishes facility to manufacture rotors for centrifuge machines

(MENAFN) Iran was announced to have established a factory aimed at producing rotors that are used to develop centrifuge machines.

The declaration was made Wednesday by head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi, as reported Tasnim news agency.

The AEOI reportedly explained the facility as part of initiatives to increase Iran's uranium enrichment capacity to 190,000 Separative Work Units (SWU).

The factory was also confirmed to be offering a capacity to produce about 60 IR-6 centrifuge machines per day.
