Singapore stocks go up 0.03 percent Wednesday


(MENAFN) The Singaporean stocks have closed on Wednesday with a higher rate, as the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) recorded a 0.03 percent increase, or 0.86 points, to close at 3240.5.

An overall of 1.43 billion shares were confirmed to have changed hands with around USD746.67 million turnover, while gainers outnumbered losers by 189 to 182.

It follows a rise in the STI index on Tuesday by 0.21 percent, 6.85 points, to close at 3239.64.
