(MENAFN) On Monday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his US counterpart Donald Trump held a phone conversation over Syrian and bilateral issues.

Erdogan and Trump touched on the judicial issues between Turkey and the U.S., and voiced their determination to advance bilateral relations in every field, the presidential office said in statement.

They agreed that the implementation of the Manbij roadmap will make a significant contribution to the solution of the Syrian crisis.

Erdogan and Trump also discussed last week's NATO summit and "exchanged views regarding developments in Syria."
