Oman- Majan Electricity expands its network


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Majan Electricity Company has come up with a number of initiatives to expand its network.

The company recently inaugurated the Del el Abd el Salam power station in Saham, stated a press release.

Among the initiatives, some 33kV feeders will transfer the loads of some stations which will contribute to the strengthening of networks and ensure the continuity of energy supply.

The feeders will connect the Del el Abd el Salam distribution station to the main power transmission station in North Batinah at a cost of RO1,008,000.

The company also installed 33kV feeders to connect the Hafeet electricity distribution station to the main power transmission station. The cost of the project was RO690,000.

Some other 33kV feeders were installed at a cost of RO330,000 to connect the electricity distribution station in Mukhailif to the main power transmission station. The projects were directly supervised by Majan Electricity Company engineers to ensure commitment to quality standards.

Majan Electricity Company is a member of Nama Group that distributes and supplies electricity in the governorates of North Batinah, Dhahirah and Buraimi.
