(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Football fans have been catching all the live action on the big screen at the Oman Avenues Mall's world cup tent, specially created to broadcast the on-going 2018 FIFA World Cup matches.
For the first time ever in the sultanate, Oman Avenues Mall has conceptualised a one-of-a-kind viewing experience as a tribute to all the ardent fans of football in the country. The 2018 FIFA World Cup, which is the 21st edition will end with the final match today.
To help the fans capture the thrill of World Cup moments, Oman Avenues Mall has put up an air-conditioned tent in the upper level parking of the mall. Fans can catch every single moment of action across the giant LED screens installed inside the tent. To ensure a stadium-type experience, the arena has been split into two sections, so that supporters of each team can sit on their respective side to cheer along with fellow supporters. While watching their favourite teams play, fans can also enjoy some quick bites and refreshments, which are being sold inside the tent. Outside the tent, there is a play area for kids where they can play games and win goodies.
The tent can seat 352 people. The seats are available for an entry ticket of RO2.5. To make the viewing arena a family-friendly area, the tent has been declared a 'no smoking zone'.
To make the most of the World Cup, the mall has setup a massive FIFA world cup prop at the entrance to showcase its love for the sport. The mall also has Giant Robots mobilising in and out of the mall while juggling football to add flavour to the entire season.
