(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, July 12 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Deputy Foreign Minister Khaled Al-Jarallah said on Thursday the recent state visit by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to China was "totally successful and a quantum leap in bilateral relations".
"The talks held by His Highness the Amir and the Chinese president were so candid and constructive that economic, trade, oil, technological and communication aspects, as well as regional issues, were involved," Al-Jarallah said to reporters after attending a celebration by the French embassy to mark the European country's National Day.
The State of Kuwait counts on China in a number of issues and challenges, primarily security and terrorism that poses a threat to the entire world, he added. (Pick up previous) mt
