Militants violated ceasefire in eastern Ukraine 22 times in last day


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Militants launched 22 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the past day.

'Russian-occupation troops violated ceasefire regime 22 times, using the weapons banned under the Minsk agreements ten times, the press center of the JFO Headquarters reports.

In Luhansk direction, the armed hostilities took place near Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), where the enemy used 122mm artillery, 82mm mortars, grenade launchers and small arms. Militants also fired grenade launchers and heavy machine guns outside Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk) and Novozvanivka(70km west of Luhansk).

In Donetsk direction, defenders of Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk) and Kamyanka (62km south of Donetsk) came under enemy fire.

In Mariupol direction, the tense situation was observed in Vodiane(16km north-west of Donetsk), where Russian mercenaries fired on Ukrainian positions using 82mm mortars, tube artillery, grenade launchers and small arms. Ukrainian troops around Lebedynske(16km north-east of Mariupol) came under tank and 122mm artillery fire. The enemy's activity was also observed in the area of Bohdanivka(41km south-west of Donetsk), Hnutove(19km north-west of Mariupol) and Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol).

One Ukrainian soldier was killed, another four were wounded in fighting in last day.

Today, the enemy has launched three attacks on Ukrainian troops near Marinka in Donetsk direction and Hnutove and Shyrokyne in Mariupol direction. No casualties among Ukrainian troops have been reported.
