Pakistan: trooper dies in terrorists attack


(MENAFN) The military declared that a Pakistani trooper has died as another was wounded when terrorists attacked them from the Afghan side.

Military spokesman Major General Asif Ghafoor confirmed that the troopers were focusing on fencing the border with Afghanistan when the armed attack took place.

The spokesman added: "Terrorists attempted fire raid on troops busy in fencing along the Pak-Afghanistan Border west of Gurbaz in North Waziristan,".

Security forces are to finish fencing undeterred, as Afghanistan's supports is needed in common interests, according to Ghafoor.
