UAE grants food aid to Somali people


(MENAFN) Somalia has reportedly received 824 tonnes of food aid from a UAE relief ship that arrived at the port of Kismayo in Jubaland.

Citing an official source, WAM reported the food aid to be spread among people in need within the drought-stricken area of Jubaland.

The UAE aims through the move to alleviate the struggle Somali people are inflicted upon in their country.

WAM also reported Somali officials to have praised the much-needed humanitarian aid from the UAE.
