Nicaragua: four die in police shooting amid protests

(MENAFN) Activists declared that over four people, with a child among them, have died in the Nicaraguan capital after security forces fired at demonstrators.

The Nicaraguan Centre for Human Rights confirmed that the alleged "combined forces" carried out an attack on a student strike at a university in Managua.

The mother of the baby claimed that the baby has been shot down by the police, however, the government has rejected her allegation.

At least 200 people have been killed within two months of protests, according to reports.
