A senior officer attached to the Immigration and Emigration Department was arrested at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) with gold biscuits concealed in his pocket.
The officer had in his possession 60 gold biscuits worth Rs. 36 million.
The officer was arrested at the departure terminal of the airport. (Colombo Gazette)
