(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) JAMRUD: Personnel of Khasadar Force on Friday staged a protest demonstration in favour of their demands and asked the government for payment of pension along with other perks and privileges.
The personnel gathered in Jamrud Bazar and staged a peaceful protest and said that they fear termination from their jobs after merger of Fata with KP.
They asked the government to regularize their services, give them pension and allowances instead of removing them from their jobs.
'We have rendered sacrifices in war on terror and hundreds of our colleagues laid down their lives,' said Abdul Wali, a Khasadar Force personnel, adding that the government should respect our sacrifices.
The protesting personnel said that there were no employment opportunities in the area and asked for creating of jobs for youth of recently merged district.
They warned the government to end confusion till Monday and clear their position or else they would launch a protest drive.
