(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Militants launched 29 attacks on Ukrainian positions in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in eastern Ukraine over the past day.
'Russian-occupation troops violated ceasefire regime 29 times, using artillery and mortars three times, the press center of the JFO Headquarters reports.
The armed hostilities took place near Novotoshkivske (53km north-west of Luhansk) and Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk) in Luhansk direction, outside Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk) in Horlivka direction and in the area of Starohnativka(52km south of Donetsk), Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk), Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk) and Novotroitske (32km south of Donetsk) in Donetsk direction.
The tensest situation was observed in Mariupol direction, namely near Lebedynske(16km north-east of Mariupol), Pavlopol(30 km northeast of Mariupol)and Hnutove(19km north-west of Mariupol).
One Ukrainian serviceman sustained shrapnel wounds in last day. According to the intelligence, three militants were killed and three more were wounded.
