A statement from the NSC received by Pajhwok Afghan News said 'a baseless report' about the Durand Line was being circulated on the social media since Thursday morning.

The statement added the Afghan security delegation that recently traveled to Pakistan did not meet with Pakistan's army chief, Gen. Qmar Bajaw and neither discussed the Durand Line with anyone during their trip.

The NSC said the report about the Durand Line circulating on the social media was 'baseless and fake.'

'The Durand Line is an issue that relates to the whole Afghan nation and governments have no right to even talk about it', the source added.

Two days back, a high-level security delegation led by National Security Advisor Hanif Atmar traveled to Pakistan, but details about the trip are yet known.
