(MENAFN) Foreign military powers in Syria not helping in the process of searching for a political solution in the Syrian crisis, the Russian foreign ministry's spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.
She said in a press conference on Wednesday "Due to the continuous of Foreign existence, Syrian government enemies still believe they can take revenge for their defeat, and their cooperation won't help in the process of search for a political solution, and keeps the terrorists' hope in continuing the chaos and re-capture the areas they lost control on it".
Zakharova stated that the significance of moving among the running circumstances "towards a political solution in Syria according to the International resolution number 2254 and the results of the national dialogue results in Sochi which states to save the sovereignty and independency of Syria and unity of its land".
She pointed out that Russia still doing efforts to move in this direction, in cooperation with its allies in Astana conference.
