(MENAFN) On Thursday, MP Samir Jisr and Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon, Nazih al-Najjari, reviewed the current situation and latest developments in the country and the broader Arab region, NNA reported.
The pair met at the lawmaker's Tripoli residence.
Separately, Jisr dwelt on the government formation dossier during an interview with Voice of Lebanon (VDL-93.3) radio station.
"The delay in the government formation process is the result of demands and conditions some sides are trying to impose in terms of their representation in the lineup," he explained.
"Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri is seeking solutions," he maintained.
"I believe that there are three internal setbacks hindering the formation; nonetheless, the solution will be reached within days, God willing," he concluded.
