Over 9 mln Ukrainians signed declarations with doctors


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Over nine million Ukrainians have already signed declarations with primary care physicians in the scope of the nationwide campaign "Doctor for Each Family.

This data has been posted on the website of the electronic healthcare system E-Health.

In particular, since the beginning of the nationwide campaign, which is being implemented within the healthcare reform, 9 million 149 thousand 975 patients have signed declarations with primary care physicians - family doctors, therapists and pediatricians.

Also, as of June 20, 1,252 healthcare establishments and 21,910 primary care physicians have been registered in the E-Health system.

As Ukrinform reported, the nationwide campaign to select a primary care physician "Doctor for each family" was launched in Ukraine on April 2. Ukrainians have the opportunity to choose their doctor a therapist, a pediatrician or a family doctor - regardless of the place of registration. To do this, Ukrainians need to come to the chosen specialist with documents and sign a declaration with him or her for the provision of primary health care services.
