Microsoft CEO denies claims on aiding Trump administration

(MENAFN) Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella has rejected a claim accusing his company of helping enforcing the controversial family separation policy by President Trump's administration, slamming it as "abhorrent."

Nadella condemned the claim in an email to all Microsoft employees, saying he was "appalled at the abhorrent policy of separating immigrant children from their families at the southern border of the United States."

Nadella reiterated that his company is not cooperating with the US government on any projects related to it.

He added "our current cloud engagement with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is supporting legacy mail, calendar, messaging and document management workloads."
