(MENAFN) An Israeli drone was confirmed by Israel's military to have collapsed in village in southern Syria in what seems to be a malfunction problem.
A military spokesperson revealed in a statement that the Skylark crashed near the Druze village of Hader.
The spokesperson also explained that "the crash apparently occurred because of a technical malfunction."
Even though the incident is currently being looked into, there was no concern that classified information could be gleaned from the drone since the systems of the mini unmanned vehicle shut down automatically, the spokesperson added.
