(MENAFNEditorial) News784 understands that a woman is now dead, and according to eyewitness accounts, this after consuming gramoxone on Sunday 27th May 2018.
While News784 cannot confirm it was indeed gramoxone that caused the woman's death, we have been told by a credible source that the woman did ingest a deadly substance.
According to the information obtained by News784, sometime after 2 pm on Sunday afternoon, a woman from an area called Rocks in the Redemption Sharpes community attempted to consume a deadly substance.
Efforts by individuals to take the substance away from the female, who has been identified as Jillian Francis, was unsuccessful.
Francis according to the information was rushed to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital in Kingstown for treatment.
She was however pronounced dead on arrival. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
News784 have not been able to ascertain the age of Jillian Francis and will update in a future post.
