(MENAFN) Police declared that a teenager has died as another three were discharged from hospital after an "incident" in a field.
Police responded to reports about the boy's welfare close to Dewhirst Road, Rochdale, soon before 11:15 BST.
A Greater Manchester Police spokeswoman confirmed: "Inquiries into whether there were any suspicious circumstances around this boy's death are ongoing,".
Police have urged the public for any information related to the incident.
