Qatar- Education Ministry, CCQ officials honoured

DOHA: The General Authority of Customs (GAC) honoured Dr Ibrahim bin Saleh Al Nuaimi, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, and officials of the Community College of Qatar (CCQ) for their good efforts and constructive contributions to the success of its academic programme (Diploma of Customs Sciences).

The programme is designed to prepare individuals that are seeking employment in the field of customs and border management, or for current customs employees wishing to advance their careers at their workplace.

The programme was launched by the General Authority of Customs in collaboration six years ago.

This cooperation resulted in the graduation of 40 employees and students from the programme so far. Chairman of GAC, Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Jamal, has honoured the former president of the college, Al Nuaimi, and a number of the college officials during a ceremony held at Sheraton hotel.
