Iran crude oil export hits 2,150,000 bpd in past calendar year


(MENAFN) Iran's export of crude oil was announced to have doubled in the past Iranian calendar year 1396, after the execution of JCPOA.

Crude oil exports have reached over 2,150,000 oil barrels per day (bpd), compared to 1,130,000 bpd that was seen in 2012.

Boosting oil export volume is seen as a major and significant achievement that has been realized following the implementation of JCPOA.

The volume of Iran's oil export was also said to have considerably declined in 2012, reaching 1,130,000 oil bpd, a record low.
