(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) A man driving a motorbike was injured after he hit a light pole. The man, in his twenties, was rushed by the Bur Dubai police ambulance to the Rashid Hosptial.
Brigadier Abdulla Khadem, director of the Bur Dubai police station, said the man was seriously wounded as the motorcycle overturned after the collision. He said the man was in critical condition and admitted to the ICU. Prosecutors are investigating the cause of the accident.
He warned all motorcyclists to be careful and abide by the laws. "They should not speed as they would lose control over the bikes. They should also wear helmets for safety and also check the tyres.
