(MENAFN- Pajhwok Afghan News) HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): At least four road construction company workers were killed by unidentified armed men in Shindand district of western Herat province on Saturday, officials said.
Provincial police spokesman, Abdul Ahad Walizada, told Pajhwok Afghan News that a number of armed men attacked the workers of a road construction company in Zori area of Shindand district today morning.
He said four workers of the company were killed in the incident. Walizada did not provide more details about the attack.
Mohammad, a resident of Shindand district center, said that the road construction workers were killed by gunmen traveling in a corolla car. The workers were busy on road construction when attacked.
