(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- The Muscat Municipality Ramadan football tournament began this week. Twelve teams from different departments of the municipality are participating in it.
The tournament is regulated and supervised by the municipality's sports committee and referees from Oman Football Association. The participating teams have been divided into three groups.
The first group includes Directorate General (DG) of Technical Affairs, DG of Projects, DG of Transport and the headquarters team; the second group includes Muscat Municipality DG of Muttrah, DG of Afforestation and Parks, DG of Seeb, and the DG of Information Technology. The third group includes DG of Investment and Economic Development, DG of Human Resources Team, and Muscat Municipality in Bausher.
Mohamed bin Said al Mahrooqi, head of the sports committee, said that the tournament is being held with the support of H E Eng Mohsin bin Mohammed Ali al Sheikh, chairman of Muscat Municipality.
