Qatar- Woqod opens Madinat Al Mawater petrol station

DOHA: Qatar Fuel (Woqod) opened yesterday its 63rd service station in Madinat Al Mawater in Rawdat Rashid village.

On this occasion, Woqod's Chief Executive Officer, Eng. Saad Rashid Al Muhannadi, said: 'We are pleased to open this new station in Madinat Al Mawater to meet the requirements. The new opening reflects our ambitious plans to expand our network and accessibility within Qatar, in order to cater to the growing demand of the local market and ensure that high-quality products and services are availed to all our customers at their convenience across the country.

Woqod is currently engaged in the implementation of 27 petrol station projects, most of which are expected to be operational within this year.

With the addition of Madinat Al Mawater petrol station, the company's branded stations network increased to 50 stations. The new station has three lanes that will serve Madinat Al Mawater and its neighborhood.

The petrol station will offer round-the-clock services including Sidra convenience store, auto wash facility, auto repair, tire services, and sale of LPG cylinders, gasoline and diesel products.

Woqod's expansion strategy seeks to increase the total number of service stations operated by the company to 100 by 2020.
