(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, May 23 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah affirmed Wednesday the government's continued efforts to find Saud Faisal Al-Musallam, a citizen who has been lost at sea since May 18.
The interior, defense, and foreign ministries, in addition to Kuwait Fire Service Directorate are making maximum efforts in their search operations at regional waters, His Highness the Premier said while meeting with Al-Musallam's father and siblings at Seif Palace.
The government is also keeping in touch with neighboring countries to cooperate and assist in finding the lost citizen, His Highness the Prime Minister said, expressing his sincere sympathy to the missing Kuwaiti's family.
Meanwhile, His Highness the Premier lauded the popular reaction towards the painful incident and called it a source of pride that reflects the Kuwaiti people's solidarity and unity among each other.
It also showed the Kuwaitis' fast response in handling any emergency situation that may endanger other people's lives, said His Highness the Prime Minister. (end) fs.ma
