Berlin striker Schieber joins Augsburg


(MENAFN) FC Augsburg was declared to have signed up Hertha Berlin's striker Julian Schieber on a free transfer, concluding its first summer recruiting.

The Germany striker has signed a contract with Augsburg that expires in three years, until June 2021, granting a chance to strengthen the "Fuggerstaedter".

Augsburg's CEO Stefan Reuter remarked "with Julian Schieber we have snapped up an experienced and dangerous striker. We are confident that he can help us to achieve our goals in the future."

The CEO of the club added "I am very happy that Augsburg gives me the chances to hunt for goals in the next three years. I would like to help Augsburg continuing successful in the Bundesliga."
