(MENAFN) A court has heard a man chocked his wife to death for he mistakenly thought she was assaulting their son, aged 2.
Muhammad Malik, aged 38, has murdered his wife Asia Tufail, aged 32, at their house on Perne Road, Cambridge.
Malik contacted the police saying: "I'm afraid I've taken her life. You need to come and get me".
He was handed a hospital order at Cambridge Crown Court, after confessing manslaughter.
