(MENAFN) The Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage has announced plans on Tuesday for more than 120 tourist festivals across the country this summer.
The Commission explained that "the Commission are preparing a number of tourist sites and events, encouraging tourism trips through the media campaigns and marketing and supporting tourism programs and trips."
The Commission explained that the festivals, which are being organized in cooperation with the Tourism Development Councils in the regions and the partners of the Commission, will include culture, heritage, sports, adventure, youth, environmental, entertainment, and shopping events.
It further explained that "what will be new in the summer events this year is the organisation of more events for young people, women, and children, with other attractive, useful, and diverse events in all activities, and the involvement of young people and parents in the organisation of the events."
