(MENAFN) Malaysia will not suffer from bankruptcy since the current government is able to achieve a financial rebound, Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng guaranteed.
The level of debt Malaysia is inflicted upon could become better when the fundamental principles of the financial system are implemented, the newly-finance minister explained.
The statement has been made by the Malaysian finance minister during his first press conference held at the Finance Ministry.
Lim added "in addition, expert officials will be allowed to carry out their duties professionally and with integrity. I think this is important. If we can do so, I believe the country's financial system can recover."
