(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) A low pressure weather system has developed over the Arabian Sea, Oman's meteorology department said in a statement.

Officials at the National Multi Hazard Early Warning Centre at the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) said that a tropical depression has formed in the southern part of the Arabian Sea.

According to authorities, the storm had centred in the southwest of the Arabian Sea-latitude 9N and longitude 60E-and was 1,000km from Salalah in Oman.
Meanwhile in UAE, it was a sunny morning on Tuesday with the minimum temperature recorded at 20.2C.
The National Centre of Meteorology(NCM) expects the weather in to be partly cloudy in general and hazy at times. The centre also said there will be a chance of convective clouds forming in the east in the afternoon, associated with rainfall.

Light to moderate winds will blow in general."The relative humidity is likely to increase during the night and tomorrow early morning, with a probability of fog/mist formation," the statement added.
