Kenya considers laws reform for biodiversity conservation boost

(MENAFN) Kenya was revealed to be looking into reforming its laws to improve biodiversity conservation and sustainable utilization of national resources.

The attempts of Kenya to preserve biodiversity have not been in line with growing evidence of biodiversity loss, as suggested cabinet secretary in the Ministry of Environment Keriako Tobiko.

In the International Day for Biological Diversity, Tobiko stated "The new legislative frameworks are geared to enhance biodiversity conservation and sustainable utilization of our national resources."
