Legendary Hollywood film poster illustrator dies aged 97


(MENAFN) One the most popular creators of film posters in Hollywood, Bill Gold, has died at the age of 97.

The veteran artist had created over 2,000 posters, with the ones for Casablanca, Dial M for Murder, and Dirty Harry among them.

Mr Gold started his career at the film production company Warner Brothers, over 60 years ago.

His work revolved around illustrating an artwork in a way that didn't distract a film's storyline.
