Sonargaon hosts Iftar for orphans

Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, in organised a children's Iftar party on May 21 at Grand Ballroom.

More than five hundred children, mostly orphans and disadvantaged children from different social welfare organisations had taken their Iftar.

Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister AKM Shajahan Kamal, Mohammad Alamgir, Managing Director of Hotels International Limited (HIL), and senior officers of Hotel Sonargaon were present.

Children attended for Iftar, came from different non-profit educational institutes such as Jamey Ambarshah Madrasa & Yatimkhana, Rahmatullah Noor Hafijia Madrasha & Yatimkhana, Rainbow Autism Care Foundation, Bangladesh Pratibandhi Foundation, Amar Joti Special School, ASHIC Foundation, Ahsania Mahila Mission, Madrashatul Sunna, Rahmat E- Alam Islam Mission Yatimkhana, Ahsanul Ulum Madrasa & Yatimkhana, Mohammadia Hafizia Madrasa O Yatimkhana, Jamia Keramia Arabia Madrasa, Baitul Atiq Jame Masjid & Madrasa and Darul Quran Hafijia Madrasa O Yatimkhana.

Hotel Sonargaon has always been keen to support the social welfare of the community and focus on social responsibilities as part of the hotel's corporate culture.

Under its Community Care Program, Pan Pacific Sonargaon has organized this Children's Iftar Party to provide orphans a memorable experience of this Holy month of Ramadan and has been organizing such Iftar Parties for the children for over a decade long time as part of its Community Care Programme.
