(MENAFN) Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri met with Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdul-Karim and discussed the current developments in Lebanon and the region, SANA reported.
"We discussed developments in Lebanon and the region and the successes being achieved by the Syrian Arab army against the terrorist organizations," Abdul-Karimtold reporters after the meeting on Monday.
He said that the Israeli and Western escalation, which is a reaction to the army successes, was also reviewed during the meeting.
The Ambassador said that Syria will experience more stability and victory over all threats, including Israeli, emphasizing their failure to invest terrorist organizations in Syria.
