(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Dhofar Automotive (DA), the official distributor of the Alfa Romeo brand in the sultanate, recently announced the arrival of the all-new Stelvio Quadrifoglio into Oman at the Shangri-La Layali Ramadan tent.
DA also announced that the Alfa Romeo brand will be sponsoring the entire range of activities at the Ramadan tent, which will be in operation until the end of Ramadan. By displaying its stunning models at the tent, including the Stelvio Quadrifoglio, DA is keen to offer visitors an exceptional Ramadan ambience.
With its awe-inspiring design, performance and technology, the Stelvio Quadrifoglio is the fastest SUV around the Nürburgring, having clocked a new record for its class on the iconic circuit with a time of 7 minutes 51.7 seconds.

Stelvio Quadrifoglio is equipped with an exclusive aluminium 2.9 V6 Bi-Turbo petrol engine - developed using technologies and engineering know-how from Ferrari; it delivers maximum power of 510hp at 6,500rpm and generates a maximum torque of 600Nm from 2,500 to 5,000rpm.
The power plant is teamed with the specifically calibrated eight-speed automatic transmission that allows gearshifts in just 150 milliseconds in Race driving mode. Also, to maximise the sporty driving experience, one-piece aluminium paddle shifters, integrated with the steering column, are standard.
As a result, its performance figures are outstanding: Acceleration from 0 to 100kmph takes just 3.8 seconds and it has a best-in-class top speed of 283kmph. In addition to the Stelvio Quadrifoglio, the range available in the sultanate also includes versions with an all-aluminium, 280hp 2l direct-injection turbo engine.
