Pakistan- Hasan Ali faces injury scare ahead of Lord's Test


(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) PESHAWAR: Pakistan fast bowler Hasan Ali is facing an injury scare ahead of the first Test match of the two-match series with England which will be played at Lord's on 24 May.

Pakistan team's physiotherapist Cliffe Deacon said the bowler injured his hand during the warm-up match against Leicestershire during a catching attempt. He said two stitches have been given on the hand of Hasan and he is expected to recover before the match.

Meanwhile, pacer Mohammad Aamir regained full fitness ahead of the match. He was rested during the practice match to keep him fully fit for the Lord's Test. The knee problem troubled him during Pakistan's five-wicket victory over Test debutants Ireland in Dublin.

The second match of the series will begin on 1 June.
