ABU DHABI, 21st May, 2018 (WAM) -- The Abu Dhabi City Municipality, ADM, has recently received the new Quality Management System, ISO 9001: 2015, certification, having successfully implemented all the required standards and requirements and completed the ISO internal and external audits according to the top international practices.
Saif Bader Al Qubaisi, ADM General Manager, received the certificate from Yahia Al Halabi, Regional Director-General of the British Standards Institution, BSI - an international organisation specialised in auditing and certifying administrative systems in accordance with ISO standards. Al Qubaisi presented a memento to ISO's representatives in recognition of their efforts.
"Obtaining the ISO 9001: 2015 QMS reaffirms that the Municipality's operations in conformity with the international quality standards. It is also part of the municipality's efforts to bring internal systems in line with its objectives, induce improvements of operations, raise the competitive edge. It also contributes to leveraging performance, cutting management costs, improving internal communications, boosting institutional participation and focusing on human resources," Al Qubaisi noted.
