By Fikret Dolukhanov – Trend:

OPEC has no complaints to Kazakhstan, the Kazakh media quoted the country's Energy Minister Kanat Bozumbayev as saying May 21.

"Kazakhstan fulfills all commitments undertaken within OPEC,' the minister told reporters following a government meeting in the Kazakh parliament. 'We have committed ourselves that there will be a certain volume of oil production and we will adhere to the limit, if this does not damage international investors. This is all I can tell you. Have you heard about OPEC's complaints? So, Kazakhstan fulfills its obligations."

Earlier, the minister said Kazakhstan intends to gradually increase oil production from current 86 million tons to 104 million tons annually by 2025.
