(MENAFN) Officials declared that seven people, with four attackers among them, have died in a militant assault on a church in the major Muslim southern Russian district of Chechnya.
The incident occurred when armed men tried to captivate people inside St. Michael church in Chechnya's capital of Grozny.
The officials added:"according to early information, two policemen in charge of security at the church ... and a civilian were killed,"
The officials also confirmed that four militants "have been eliminated", as another two police officers were wounded.
