China to increase US goods, service imports

(MENAFN) China has reached a resolution to abandon a trade war as it decided to make additional imports of goods and services from the US.

The decision is to "substantially reduce" the US annual trade deficit with Beijing which reached USD335 billion, Washington affirmed.

After both sides wrapped up their discussions, a US-China statement announced "both sides agreed on meaningful increases in US agriculture and energy exports."

The statement then guaranteed that the move "will help support growth and employment in the United States."
