Kuwait condemns UNSC failure to tackle Israel violence against Palestine

(MENAFN) Kuwait was announced to have condemned the UNSC for its failure in tackling the latest Israeli violence against Palestinians.

The statement has been made by Kuwait's Permanent Representative to the UN and Other International Organizations in Geneva Ambassador Jamal Al-Ghunaim at the UN Human Rights Council's special session.

The ambassador suggested that the inability of the international community to handle the issue has been a drive for Israel's authorities to breach the international humanitarian law and human rights law at their wish.

Al-Ghunaim stated "Israel carries out all forms of infringements without paying any attention to the international condemnations and denouncements."

He added "therefore, we wonder what the international community is waiting for to provide an international protection to the unarmed Palestinian people?"
