EU, Greece agree on reforms programme amid bailout

(MENAFN) The European Commission announced Greek creditors to have decided on a revamping programme with Greece facing the third and last bailout.

EU commissioner Pierre Moscovici declared that "after so many difficult years, efforts and sacrifices, Greece is finally on the home stretch."

Experts from the EU, European Central Bank (ECB) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) have recently held talks with the Greek government so as to address its privatisation drive.

The executive of the EU also unveiled that a staff-level agreement has been settled, without granting further details on the matter.

The statement of the executive said "the Greek authorities aim to implement these measures as swiftly as possible in advance of the Eurogroup of 21 June 2018."
