David Warner to play club cricket

Tainted Australian cricketer David Warner might be serving a 12-month ban from international cricket but the 31 year old will not be stopped from doing what he loves.
He will be seen playing club cricket for Sydney's Randwick Petersham.
Warner is serving a ban after he was found guilty of orchestrating the ball tampering incident.

"We're delighted to have him. He's one of the best players Australia has had since World War II. He's been speaking to one of our club officials and he has committed to the first three or four rounds of the season." Randwick President Whitney said.

Mike Whitney, who played 12 Tests for Australia, claimed that he emailed Warner in April just days after the ban was imposed on him.
He told him this door was open for him.
The ban imposed by Cricket Australia doesn't stop Warner from playing cricket at the club level.
Northern Territory's Strike League is also another likely destination for Warner.

Back on track
Warner has been a part of Randwick since 2013-14 but hardly had an opportunity to represent them due to his commitments.
Cameron Bancroft, who is also serving a ban, was cleared to play for Western Australia earlier this week.
Australia coach Justin Langer has made it clear they would be happy to consider the trio, post ban, if they can justify their selection.
