(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) MOHMAND AGENCY: Three terrorists were killed and one Pakistani soldier embraced martyrdom on Thursday during exchange of firing in Safi tehsil Sheikh Baba area of Mohmand Agency.
According to Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR), 21-year-old Farman Ullah was deployed at check post in Safi tehsil when terrorists from across the border opened fire on him. However the security forces effectively responded and killed three terrorists.
A week earlier, five security officials were martyred on Pak-Afghan border Kurram Agency following firing from across the border in Khost, Afghanistan.
The Pakistan army is in the process of fencing the porous Pak-Afghan border in a bid to stem the free-flow of militants. However, Afghanistan denounced the fence, which threatens to upset the daily lives of communities.
